Personality

Greedo is a male Rodian born into the persecuted Tetsu Clan on Rodia. His father, Greedo the Elder, was a famed bounty hunter whose success drew the wrath of Navik the Red, leader of the rival Chattza Clan. Navik killed him and seized the Tetsu’s wealth. Greedo’s pregnant mother, Neela, fled with a group of survivors and resettled on the remote jungle world U-Tendik, where they agreed to shield their children from their violent past. For over a decade, Greedo lived a quiet life with his brother Pqweeduk, unaware of his heritage. That changed when he discovered three hidden starships in a cavern—remnants of the past. Curious, he confronted Neela, who reluctantly revealed the truth about the clan wars and his father’s murder. Soon after, Navik’s warriors found the Tetsu and attacked. Many were killed, but Greedo, his family, and twenty others escaped in one of the ships, the Radion, reaching Nar Shaddaa. There, Greedo was introduced to galactic life and the criminal underworld. He befriended Anky Fremp, a Skup biomorph, and learned how to survive through black-market dealings and scavenging. Eventually, the family relocated to Tatooine. Greedo’s temper became well-known; he once accused Anakin Skywalker of cheating in the Boonta Eve Classic, prompting Qui-Gon Jinn to intervene. His childhood friend W. Wald warned him that his aggression would lead to a grim end. As he grew older, Greedo turned to petty crime, often lingering in Jabba’s Palace. During the Clone Wars, Greedo remained active on Tatooine and once traveled to Coruscant to kidnap the daughters of Baron Papanoida, only to betray the Pantorans during the rescue and flee. After the war, Greedo returned to Nar Shaddaa, still idealizing bounty hunters. He saved the lives of hunters Spurch "Warhog" Goa and Dyyz Nataz, earning their mentorship. They rewarded him with a cut of a bounty and promised to help him become a real hunter. Greedo provided information about a Rebel cell on Level 88, hoping to earn Imperial favor. In return, he was promised a ship—the Manka Hunter—but was tricked out of his cut. In an attempt to compensate, he stole power couplings from the Millennium Falcon, only to be caught by Chewbacca and humiliated by Han Solo, who took Greedo’s prized rancor-skin jacket. Greedo’s growing experience came with setbacks. He was brave but impulsive, often unaware of his surroundings and still prone to amateur mistakes. While he gained confidence and began completing bounties, many—including his uncle Avaro Sookcool—saw him as dim-witted and reckless. Appearance: He has smooth, scaled green skin with a slightly glossy sheen, prominent round black eyes with reflective surfaces, and a long, tapered snout. A vertical ridge of blunt, fin-like spikes rises from the crown of his head. His ears are large, conical, and project outward from either side of the head. He wears a form-fitting, teal-colored jumpsuit with yellow ribbed padding running along the outer arms and legs for added texture and contrast. Over this, he sports a sleeveless brown utility vest with multiple flap pockets. A dark leather gun belt crosses his waist and right thigh, featuring a silver buckle and a thigh holster. His boots are a muted olive tone.
